Charan acquired a diploma from a local college and started her career with a local insurance company in the year 1981.  During her entire career she has gained her experience by working and being exposed to various departments undertaking claims, underwriting, reinsurance, sales etc roles.  She has served various committees in PIAM and the MNRB Malaysian Aviation Pool.  She also held various management positions in the insurance companies, brokers as well as the Malaysian Insurance Institute

She completed her AMII and ACII in the year 1996 and has since then contributed back to the industry by way of lecturing, training, developing modules, DMII / AMII Q&A and various general insurance training modules. She played a role in the development of the MII e-learning modules.  Apart from lecturing and training she has conducted various talks to customers such as CTRM, Real Estate Agents, UMW Corporation etc.  She graduated with a Masters In Business Management in 2014 to enhance her level of knowledge and analytical thinking.

Charan has 37 years of industry experience of which 17 years are lecturing and training experience both locally and abroad. Her portfolio include training programmes in Jakarta, Maldives, Cambodia. She continues to contribute to the industry by way of talks, lectures and training as well as e-module development and training materials development for a number of companies in Malaysia.  She is currently working on a project with the number one insurer in Bangladesh to develop their industry training academy  as well to work with CII on their professional programmes.

Derick has more than 45 years experience  in the general insurance industry with experience in Underwriting, Broking, Marketing, Agency Management, Risk Management and Training.

Zohrab has more than 21 years experience in the financial services industry and especially the Malaysian general insurance industry.  His early professional career includes being a practising lawyer, an economic trade officer with the South African High Commission and an international business development manager before joining the financial services sector.

He was a loss adjuster before moving onto claims, business excellence, performance management, coaching, organisational development and talent management. His progression from an individual contributor to manager of managers coupled with strong operational exposure and hands-on experiences in the diverse process and major insurance classes have enabled him to understand and speak the business language when facilitating in-house as well as external learning programmes – technical and soft-skills  in Indonesia, Hong Kong and Singapore.

His career started in 1998 with GAB Robins (M) Sdn Bhd,  Aviva Insurance (M) Bhd, MSIG Insurance (M) Bhd, AXA General Insurance Bhd , Maybank Berhad and Zurich General & Takaful Insurance Malaysia Bhd as the Head of Technical and People Development (Claims Department) in 2019.

Zohrab is an energetic and engaging facilitator delivering various technical and soft skills related programmes. Apart from facilitation, he has also been invited as speaker, panelist, moderator at public local and international conferences.

Wan Zamri has more than to 30 years career in Insurance, Reinsurance, Takaful and Retakaful.

He travelled widely across Asia, Middle-East, Africa, Europe and the United States to promote takaful and retakaful. Over the years has presented papers in international conferences and workshops in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, UAE, Thailand, Australia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Gambia, United Kingdom, United States.
